07:28 AM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CNX Resources ( CNX ) said Thursday it has signed a deal to acquire Apex Energy's natural gas upstream and associated midstream business for about $505 million in cash

The acquisition will be funded by its secured credit facility, CNX said, adding that the deal is expected to be immediately accretive to its free cash flow per share.

CNX intends to complete the transaction in Q1 next year, it added.
