03:42 PM EST, 11/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CO2 Energy Transition ( NOEMU ) said Friday it has closed the initial public offering of 6.9 million units, including 900,000 additional units, at $10 apiece for gross proceeds of $69 million.

A unit contains one share of common stock, one warrant to buy a share at $11.50, and one right that gives the holder one-eighth of a share upon completing an initial business combination, the special purpose acquisition company said.

The company's shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market Nov. 21.
