After posting a 47 percent jump in net profit, state-run Cochin Shipyard on Thursday said ship repairing segment aided revenue growth in Q2.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Madhu Nair, chief managing director, said the guidance of Rs 800 crore from ship repair segment holds for FY19 and the topline guidance for FY19 would be at Rs 2,800-2,900 crore.
On the orderbook front, Nair said Cochin Shipyard has seen steady growth in the ship repair segment and expects to secure orders for the full year of Rs 500-600 core, "There are some outstanding orders as well."
