05:14 PM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Coeur Mining ( CDE ) said late Monday it achieved commercial production at the expanded Rochester silver and gold mine in Nevada.

The company said that the ramp-up to full design capacity of 88,000 tons a day is on schedule for completion in the first half of 2024. Coeur Mining ( CDE ) expects "materially higher" production levels to build throughout the second half, it said.
