Cognizant Q3 Adjusted EPS, Revenue Rise; Q4 Revenue Outlook Set, 2024 Guidance Updated

05:00 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cognizant Technology Solutions ( CTSH ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $1.25 per diluted share, up from $1.16 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.15.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $5.04 billion, up from $4.90 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $4.99 billion.

The company expects Q4 revenue of $5 billion to $5.1 billion. Analysts expect $5.08 billion.

Cognizant now expects 2024 adjusted diluted EPS of $4.63 to $4.67 on revenue of $19.7 billion to $19.8 billion. It previously expected EPS of $4.62 to $4.70 on revenue of $19.3 billion to $19.5 billion.

Analysts are looking for a normalized EPS of $4.62 on revenue of $19.69 billion.

The company kept its quarterly cash dividend at $0.30 a share, payable on Nov. 27 to shareholders of record on Nov. 19.
