10:05 AM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cognizant Technology Solutions ( CTSH ) said Tuesday it is collaborating with Nvidia ( NVDA ) to apply generative artificial intelligence to drug discovery.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

Cognizant said Nvidia's ( NVDA ) BioNeMo AI platform can help its pharmaceutical and life sciences clients "rapidly sift through extensive datasets, more accurately predict interactions between drug compounds and create new, viable drug development pathways."

The two companies also intend to come up with AI-backed offerings for the manufacturing and automotive industries to improve productivity and boost innovation.
