10:29 AM EDT, 04/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cognizant Technology Solutions ( CTSH ) and Omron said Tuesday they formed a strategic alliance to integrate information technology and operational technology in the manufacturing industry.

Under the partnership, Cognizant will be the engineering partner for Omron's industrial automation business products.

The partnership combines Omron's operational technology products, including sensors, controllers, servo motors, safety equipment and robots, with Cognizant's IT capabilities, such as cloud, AI, IoT and digital twin technologies, the companies said.

CTSH shares were up 2.3% in recent trading.
