Coherent Launches New High-Power Laser Sensor

08:29 AM EDT, 05/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Coherent (COHR) said Thursday it launched a new high-power laser sensor that can increase measuring speed up to five times.

The sensor can measure the power output of lasers up to 10 kw in less than 3 seconds, the company said. The product is suited for CO2, fiber, and diode lasers used in industrial applications such as cutting, welding, and brazing, according to Coherent.
