Coherent Launches Uncooled Dual-Chip Micro-Pump Laser; Shares Up Pre-Bell

07:19 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Coherent (COHR) said Thursday that device samples of its new uncooled dual-chip micro-pump laser are now available, with volume production on track for Q1 next year.

The new laser delivers a 2x400 mW output, the company said.

Coherent shares were up 4% in recent premarket activity.
