04:53 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Coinbase Global ( COIN ) reported late Wednesday its Q3 swung to earnings of $0.28 per diluted share from a loss of $0.01 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected EPS of $0.38.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.21 billion, up from $674.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.25 billion.

The company said its board in October authorized a share repurchase program of up to $1 billion.

Shares of the company were down 3.1% in recent after-hours activity.
