Coinbase to Launch Bitcoin Rewards Card With Amex
Jun 13, 2025 5:22 AM

08:03 AM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Coinbase (COIN) said Friday it plans to launch the Coinbase One Card with American Express ( AXP ) , offering 4% bitcoin cashback and other crypto-related perks.

The card, expected this fall, will also provide boosted rewards on USDC holdings, higher staking rewards, and transaction credits on Coinbase's Base network, the company said.

The move joins a trend of crypto platforms offering payment cards, such as MetaMask's debit card and Mastercard's partnerships with OKX and Kraken earlier this year, Coinbase said.

Coinbase also said it plans to announce perpetual futures trading to US users during its State of Crypto Summit in New York.

Shares of Coinbase were down by more than 1.4%, while American Express ( AXP ) dropped by more than 2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
