Sept 15 (Reuters) - Colgate-Palmolive ( CL ) will
introduce new packaging and marketing for toothpaste products
amid concern that excessive fluoride exposure is not safe for
children, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said on Monday.
Paxton said Colgate agreed that beginning on November 1, its
Colgate, Tom's of Maine and hello brands of toothpaste for
children under age six will depict "safe, age-appropriate
amounts of toothpaste" consistent with the labels' instructions.
