Bernstein's Gautam Chhugani says salary segment credit costs may not look bad compared to self-employed initially, but going ahead the situation may get worse. Furthermore, the focus should be on the collection situation at banks and financial services where the efficiency has gone down. There is a collection problem at banks and NBFCs, Chhugani adds, and the number of people not repaying will be far higher than the moratorium numbers.
