07:01 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Collective Mining ( CNL ) on Monday said it has significantly expanded the Apollo system by connecting mineralization with Olympus into one large system in its Guayabales project in Colombia.
The revised Apollo model now covers an expanded volume of up to 600 meters of strike by 395 meters of width by 1,130 meters vertical. Plans are now in place to expand Apollo in a northerly direction.
The area covering both the Olympus and Apollo systems has now been integrated into a single large and expanded Apollo system measuring about 1,000 meters by 800 meters and open for further growth.
New assay highlights from holes connecting Olympus and Apollo include 220.6 meters at 1.07 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent, including 32.2 meters at 1.86 g/t gold equivalent; and 256.4 meters at 1.23 g/t gold equivalent, including 7.9 meters at 1.76 g/t gold equivalent.
"We have two rigs focused on Apollo presently and will now look to expand the system northwards past its known limits while continuing to focus on defining and growing higher grade subzones within the existing block model," said Ari Sussman, executive chairman of Collective Mining ( CNL ).
