Colliers Buying Controlling Interest In Global Infrastructure Investment Bank For Undisclosed Sum

04:21 PM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Colliers (CIGI.TO, CIGI), a diversified professional services and investment management company, after trade Wednesday entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling interest in Astris Infrastructure, a global investment banking firm specializing in infrastructure and energy transition.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Under Colliers' partnership model, the senior leadership of Astris Finance, along with nine senior team members who will become partners, will retain significant ownership in the business, a statement said, before adding the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the third quarter.

Colliers closed up $4.05, or 2.4%, to $171.18 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
