Nov 14 (Reuters) - Colombia's Grupo Argos on
Thursday posted a 75% leap year-over-year in its third-quarter
net profit, coming in at 332 billion Colombian pesos ($74.1
million) from revenues that rose 8% to 3.31 trillion pesos.
Argos, which controls units in the energy, cement and
airport operation sectors, attributed the results to positive
performance from all of its businesses in the period,
particularly with Cementos Argos improving its profitability in
Latin America.
