BOGOTA, May 27 (Reuters) - Colombia's Grupo Nutresa, the
country's largest processed food producer, said on Monday it has
garnered interest from international firms to acquire parts of
the company.
The company started hiring external advisors to manage the
possible bids, according to a statement.
The Gilinski Group gained almost full
control of Nutresa
in early April.
The group, owned by one of Colombia's richest men,
reached an agreement in mid-2023 to buy at least 87% of
Nutresa's shares in exchange for exiting its stakes in Grupo
SURA.
