Columbia Sportswear Q4 Earnings, Sales Increase; Sets Q1 Guidance; Shares Slump After Hours

05:35 PM EST, 02/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Columbia Sportswear ( COLM ) reported Q4 earnings late Tuesday of $1.80 per diluted share, up from $1.55 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.89.

Net sales for the quarter that ended Dec. 31 was $1.10 billion, up from $1.06 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.08 billion.

The company said it expects Q1 earnings of $0.62 to $0.70 per diluted share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.71. The company expects net sales for the quarter of $749 million to $764 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $798.3 million.

For full-year 2025, the company expects earnings of $3.80 to $4.15 per diluted share on net sales of $3.40 billion to $3.47 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $4.32 and $3.48 billion, respectively.

Shares of the company were 7.4% lower in after-hours activity.
