Comcast, Charter's Xumo Joint Venture Expands Deal With Google TV Freeplay

09:45 AM EST, 01/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) and Charter Communications' ( CHTR ) Xumo streaming platform joint venture said Monday that it has expanded its enterprise partnership with Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google TV Freeplay.

Xumo said that along with currently offering all of its ad-supported streaming TV channels on Google TV Freeplay, Xumo will monetize these channels which will be branded as "provided by Xumo."

Financial terms were not disclosed.
