12:48 PM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) said Monday it was expanding its internet and entertainment network to more than 17,000 homes and businesses in Mahoning County near Youngstown in eastern Ohio.

The full project is expected be completed in 2025 and residents will begin to have access to Comcast ( CMCSA ) services this spring, the company said.

Comcast ( CMCSA ) shares were nearly 2% higher in midday trading on Monday.
