10:47 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) said Monday it has invested nearly $909 million in technology and fiber infrastructure upgrades in Massachusetts over the last three years, resulting in faster upload and download speeds for customers.

The telecommunications giant said 2 gigabits-per-second download speeds and up to 10x faster upload speeds are now available to all customers in Holyoke, Longmeadow, West Springfield and Westfield over existing connections in homes and businesses.

Work is nearly complete to upgrade customers in Southwick and Springfield as well, Comcast ( CMCSA ) said.

Comcast ( CMCSA ) shares were 1.7% higher in recent trading.
