Comcast Launches $70 Monthly Package for Sports, News TV Channels

12:20 PM EST, 01/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) on Thursday announced a $70-per-month package for Xfinity Internet customers that would provide access to over 50 sports and news TV channels.

The new offering, Sports & News TV, will bring together live news, top sporting events from sports leagues, movies and shows, and primetime TV all in one place, Comcast ( CMCSA ) said.

Customers will also receive a subscription to Peacock, 300 hours of cloud digital video recorder storage, and over 100 free streaming channels under the package, the company said.
