03:03 PM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) said Wednesday it has introduced a free, ad-supported streaming app called Network, offering original content across platforms including Xfinity X1, Flex, Xumo Stream Box, and Xumo TV.

In partnership with John Leguizamo, Network will debut its premium series the Green Veil, available ad-free to Xfinity customers from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15 to honor Hispanic Heritage Month, Comcast ( CMCSA ) said.

The Network aims to stream with a selection of original series, starting with the likes of Green Veil, Chivalry, and Kingdom of Dreams, it added.

Comcast ( CMCSA ) shares rose nearly 2% in recent trading.
