01:05 PM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) said Wednesday that David Novak will become board chair of the publicly traded company that will result from the spinoff of its select media brands and digital businesses.
The new entity will be the holding company of channels like USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Golf Channel, along with digital assets including Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, and SportsEngine, Comcast ( CMCSA ) said.
Following the spinoff, Novak will assume the chairman role and step down as director on Comcast ( CMCSA ) board, where he has served since December 2016.
Novak was the co-founder of Yum! Brands (YUM), and served as its chairman and chief executive.
