Comcast Signs $55 Million Agreement to Provide Internet Services to Rural Indiana

08:49 AM EST, 11/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Comcast ( CMCSA ) said Wednesday that it has signed a $55 million joint investment agreement with the State of Indiana to provide high-speed internet service to rural communities.

Under the contract, Comcast ( CMCSA ) will work with the Indiana Broadband Office and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.

The company said pre-construction work has already begun in Miami, Fayette, Rush, and Morgan counties, while the company continues preparations in Boone, Shelby, and Delaware counties.
