(NOK) have introduced an AI-powered service to provide connectivity within buildings and across campuses, specifically tailored to meet the needs of various industry sectors, the companies said in a joint statement Tuesday.

The service combines RUCKUS Networks' AI-driven Wi-Fi with Nokia's ( NOK ) high-capacity optical fiber network, supporting increased scalability, bandwidth, reliability and energy efficiency, while reducing the total cost of ownership by 50% for in-building and campus-wide connectivity, the companies said.

This collaboration is targeted toward environments where traditional IP-based networks are difficult to install, the companies said.
