08:48 AM EST, 11/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Community Financial System ( CBU ) said Monday it has acquired seven bank branch locations in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area from Santander Bank, a unit of Banco Santander (SAN).

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition adds about $553 million in customer deposit accounts and is part of a strategy to expand in the greater Lehigh Valley region, the company said.

Community Financial shares were up 1% in recent premarket activity.
