Community Health Systems Prices $1.79 Billion Notes Offering; Boosts Cap for Tender Offer for 2027 Notes

04:30 AM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Community Health Systems ( CYH ) said late Monday it priced an offering of $1.79 billion aggregate principal amount of 9.75% senior secured notes due 2034.

The company intends to use the net proceeds to fund the redemption of its existing 5.625% senior secured notes due 2027.

The offering, which has been upsized by $290 million, is expected to close on or about Aug. 12, subject to customary closing conditions.

Separately, the company said it has increased the tender cap of its tender offer for its existing $1.76 billion outstanding principal amount of the 2027 notes to $1.76 billion from the previously set cap of $1.47 billion.
