09:51 AM EST, 01/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Commvault Systems ( CVLT ) said Monday that it has expanded its collaboration with Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud to enhance data protection, security and resilience for enterprise customers.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Commvault ( CVLT ) said new capabilities include enhanced Air Gap Protect for Google Cloud with immutable, virtually air-gapped backups, the new Cloud Rewind capability to rapidly rebuild applications after cyberattacks or deployment errors, and advanced compliance search features for Google Workspace eDiscovery.

The enhanced Air Gap Protect is available now, while Cloud Rewind and Google Workspace protection are offered via Google Cloud Marketplace, with compliance search capabilities in early access and targeted for general availability in the first half of this year, Commvault ( CVLT ) said.
