04:40 PM EDT, 08/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Compass Minerals International ( CMP ) said late Friday it has received a non-compliance notice from the New York Stock Exchange due to a delay in filing of its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said the non-compliance has no immediate effect on the listing of its shares on the NYSE.

Compass Minerals ( CMP ) said it could not file the report on time due to pending restatements of its financial statements from various quarterly and annual reports for periods ending between June 30, 2023, and March 31, 2024.

The company said it plans to file the report "as soon as possible."
