10:42 AM EDT, 03/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Compass Pathways ( CMPS ) said Thursday that co-founders George Goldsmith and Ekaterina Malievskaia are stepping down from the board, effective Friday.

David Norton. the lead independent director. was named interim board chair, succeeding Goldsmith, the company said.

Goldsmith and Malievskaia co-founded the company in 2016.

Shares of the company fell 8.2% in recent Thursday trading.
