Complete Solaria Named Prevailing Bidder in SunPower Chapter 11 Proceedings

11:21 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Complete Solaria ( CSLR ) said Monday it has been determined as the winning bidder for the assets of SunPower under an asset purchase deal previously filed with a bankruptcy court.

Complete Solaria ( CSLR ) said it will acquire the assets subject to the court's final approval of the sale.

The company said it will also start to manage three business units of SunPower, the remaining parts of which will be left to complete the bankruptcy process.

Shares of Complete Solaria ( CSLR ) were up over 18% in recent Monday trading.
