CompX International Shares Plunge After Q1 Net Income, Net Sales Decline

02:53 PM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CompX International ( CIX ) shares were down about 15% in recent trading Wednesday, a day after the company posted declines in Q1 net income and net sales.

The company reported Q1 net income Tuesday of $0.31 per diluted share, down from $0.49 a year earlier.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $38 million, down from $41.2 million a year earlier.

No analyst estimates were available on Capital IQ.
