04:18 PM EDT, 04/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Concord Chorus said Wednesday that it raised the offer to acquire Hipgnosis Songs Fund to $1.25 per share, outbidding Blackstone's (BX) proposal.

The boards of Concord and Hipgnosis have agreed to the revised cash offer, according to a filing.

The revised offer comes days after Hipgnosis' board said it plans to recommend Blackstone's improved offer of $1.24 per share.

Blackstone did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment, while Hipgnosis declined.
