Condor Energies Receives Second Feed Gas Allocation for LNG Projects in Kazakhstan
Sep 25, 2024 9:14 PM

08:58 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Condor Energies ( CNPRF ) on Thursday said it has received its second natural gas allocation from the Kazakhstan state authority responsible for gas distribution.

The allocation, which will be used as feed gas for Condor's planned second modular Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production facility near the Kuryk Port, will also enable Condor to generate additional LNG for the national railway and Kazakhstan's Caspian Sea marine fleet,

The second gas allocation will be obtained from Kazakhstan's pipeline near the Kuryk Port, where Condor has already acquired 16 hectares of industrial land for this LNG facility. The company has also secured a 5 MWh electricity allocation that will provide power from the nearby electrical grid.

When combined with the first gas allocation for the Alga LNG facility, the total LNG fuel produced will have an energy-equivalent volume of over one million liters of diesel daily, the company said.
