Connect Biopharma Names New Chief Executive, Chair

05:09 PM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Connect Biopharma Holdings ( CNTB ) said late Wednesday it has appointed Barry Quart as chief executive and Kleanthis Xanthopoulos as board chair.

Quart, who most recently served as CEO of Heron Therapeutics (HRTX), succeeded Zheng Wei at Connect Biopharma ( CNTB ).

The company said lead independent board member Xanthopoulos succeeded Wubin Pan as chair.

Connect Biopharma ( CNTB ) also named David Szekeres as president. Szekeres most recently served as chief operating officer of Heron Therapeutics.
