12:16 PM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consolidated Communications Holdings ( CNSL ) said in a Monday filing that the proposed acquisition of the company by affiliates of Searchlight Capital Partners is set to close on Friday following approval from the Federal Communications Commission.

The company announced last year that its shareholders will receive $4.70 per share in cash under the terms of the deal.

Shares of the company were up 1.1% in recent trading.
