08:15 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consolidated Edison ( ED ) said Monday that Kirkland Andrews has been named chief financial officer, effective July 8, succeeding Robert Hoglund who is retiring.

Andrews joins Con Edison from Evergy ( EVRG ) , where he served as CFO.

Hoglund will continue as senior vice president until his retirement later in 2024 to ensure a smooth transition, the company said.

Separately, Evergy ( EVRG ) said Monday that Geoffrey Ley, vice president, corporate planning and treasurer, has been named as acting CFO, effective June 21, and that it will conduct the search for a permanent successor for Andrews.

Ley will continue with his current responsibilities in addition to serving as acting CFO, the company said.
