07:25 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Constellation Energy ( CEG ) and Meta Platforms ( META ) have signed a 20-year agreement through which the output from the Clinton Clean Energy Center in Illinois will be used to support Meta's operations in the region with 1,121 megawatts of nuclear energy.
The agreement is effective June 2027, the companies said Tuesday.
Constellation Energy ( CEG ) shares were up nearly 14% in recent premarket activity, while Meta rose 0.1%.
