08:54 AM EST, 11/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Constellation Energy ( CEG ) said Friday that it has promoted Chief Financial Officer Dan Eggers to senior executive vice president, finance and data economy.

The company tapped Shane Smith to succeed Eggers as CFO.

Meanwhile, Kathleen Barron, executive vice president and chief strategy and growth officer, is resigning from the company, but will stay on through H1 2026 to help with the transition. Barron's responsibilities will be divided among other senior leaders, Constellation said.

The changes are effective upon Constellation's acquisition of Calpine, which is expected to close in Q4, according to Constellation.
