Constellation Energy to Receive $840 Million to Sell Power to US Agencies

11:06 AM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Constellation Energy ( CEG ) said Thursday it was awarded a 10-year, $840 million contract to supply power to more than 13 federal government agencies.

Under the terms of the deal, Constellation will supply the US General Services Administration with over 1 million megawatt hours annually, starting in 2025.

The energy will be supplied to the Social Security Administration, the Federal Reserve System and the Department of Veterans' Affairs, among other agencies, Constellation said.

Constellation Energy ( CEG ) shares were up by more than 6% in recent trading.
