08:51 AM EST, 02/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Constellation Energy ( CEG ) said Monday that its Calpine unit has signed a 380-megawatt agreement with data center developer and operator CyrusOne to connect and serve a data center in Freestone County, Texas.

Under the agreement, Constellation said CyrusOne will have access to power, grid connectivity, and site infrastructure to support the new facility, which will be located next to Calpine's Freestone Energy Center.

Constellation said Calpine has also signed an exclusive agreement to provide an additional 380 MW for phase 2 of the project.

Including the 400 MW agreements signed by Calpine and CyrusOne in 2025, over 1,100 MW are now under contract for CyrusOne data centers in Texas, Constellation said.
