NEW YORK, May 9 (Reuters) - Constellation Energy ( CEG )
is considering adding new nuclear power generation on its
existing U.S. sites, which could be spurred by data centers and
other large power load customers, executives with the
Maryland-based energy company said on Thursday.
Constellation, which is the largest operator of U.S. nuclear
energy, said it is exploring the possibility of small modular
reactors and other power technology on its existing sites that
would be funded through long-term power purchase agreements with
customers.
