08:40 AM EDT, 06/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Constellation Energy ( CEG ) said Tuesday it signed a long-term power purchase contract with Walmart ( WMT ) to deliver emissions-free electricity from its Dresden nuclear generation facility in Illinois.
The arrangement involves about 176 megawatts of wholesale power supply, including 30 megawatts of expanded output capacity, the company said.
The retail business will acquire energy, capacity, and environmental attributes over two 15-year periods beginning in 2029 and 2030, Constellation said.
Shares of the company were down 2.3% in Tuesday premarket trading.
