Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) posted a 2 percent rise in first-quarter profit. Revenues were in-line while EBITDA was above analysts' estimates.
V Kalyana Rama, chairman and managing director of CONCOR spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the results and company's outlook.
“There is a general growth in the export-import in the Indian market. In Q1 we have seen good growth in these volumes, domestic is also looking good, it is not bad except for some infrastructural constraints we are facing here and there. Things are good. I think there is some recovery in the market, definitely,” said Rama.
“There may be a double digit revenue growth for the whole year,” he added.
“We are expecting 50 percent growth this year and that is what we have estimated for the whole year as last year base has increased,” said Rama.
