Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.93.
Net sales in the three months ended April 30 rose to $1 billion from $942.6 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $995.3 million.
The company boosted fiscal full-year non-GAAP diluted EPS guidance to $4.05 to $4.11 from $3.94 to $4.02 projected on March 6. Cooper expects revenue of $4.107 billion to $4.146 billion, compared with $4.08 billion to $4.158 billion estimated previously.
Analysts polled by FactSet project EPS of $3.99 on revenue of $4.115 billion.
Cooper shares fell 3.9% in after-hours trading.
