08:17 AM EDT, 09/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Copper Quest Exploration ( IMIMF ) said Monday that it closed the acquisition of the Nekash copper-gold project in Idaho.

The company said the acquisition is part of its strategy to build a portfolio of highly prospective copper assets across North America.

Copper Quest said it plans to build on the previous exploration work at the project with modern geophysics, geochemistry, and drilling.

Meanwhile, the company said over the weekend that it closed the second and final tranche of its previously announced private placement. The company issued 4,070,534 units at $0.075 apiece for $305,290.05 in proceeds.

Each unit consists of one share and one warrant. Each warrant can be exercised at $0.15 per share until Sept. 19, 2027.

Copper Quest plans to use the proceeds for exploration activities and general working capital purposes.
