09:51 AM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- COPT Defense Properties ( CDP ) said Monday it signed a 10-year lease with a US defense contractor for 48,100 square feet at Benjamin Franklin Drive in Columbia Gateway, Maryland.

Financial terms were not provided.

The company said the lease brings Franklin Center to 80% occupancy, leaving 41,000 square feet available.

Across its 2.5 million square-foot Columbia Gateway portfolio, COPT Defense Properties ( CDP ) has leased 92% of the space, with 200,000 square feet still available, the company added.
