05:02 PM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Core & Main ( CNM ) said late Wednesday it agreed to acquire nearly all assets of privately held Eastcom Associates for an undisclosed sum.

New Jersey-based Eastcom distributes damage protection and prevention equipment for surveyors and contractors in 13 states, augmenting Core & Main's ( CNM ) 350-store business throughout the US, the company said.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Core & Main ( CNM ) shares were 1.5% higher in Wednesday's extended session.
