08:41 AM EST, 12/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Corebridge Financial ( CRBG ) said Tuesday that Peter Zaffino, chief executive of American International Group, will step down as chair of Corebridge's board.

Alan Colberg of Corebridge's financial board was elected to succeed Zaffino, the company said.

Additionally, Blackstone's Chief Operating Officer Jon Gray will depart Corebridge's financial board, which has elected new members Gilles Dellaert and Minoru Kimura.

Dellaert is currently global head of Blackstone Credit and Insurance and Kimura serves as a managing executive at Nippon Life Insurance.
